When you use the amoor app, we may process room photos you upload, project names you
enter, selected room types, selected styles, and written design notes you provide in
order to generate AI redesigns. In general, your projects and images are stored
locally on your device rather than in a backend operated by amoor.
We collect this information directly from you when you upload a room photo, type a
prompt or design note, select a room type or design style, contact us, or use app
features that require AI processing.
2. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- deliver AI room redesigns and related app features,
- improve product quality, stability, and user experience,
- respond to questions, feedback, and support requests,
- monitor app performance, diagnostics, and abuse prevention,
- communicate important updates about the app or website.
3. Photos, Design Content, and AI Processing
Your uploaded images and design inputs are used to create interior design results.
We do not sell your photos. amoor is designed so that user projects are generally
kept on-device, and not stored in a dedicated amoor backend.
To generate AI results, certain content you choose to submit may be sent directly
from the app to OpenAI, our third-party AI processing provider. This may include your
room photo, selected room type, selected style, and written design notes or prompts.
This information is sent only for the purpose of producing the redesign you request.
We require service providers we rely on to process data only as needed to operate the
service and to protect it appropriately.
4. Analytics and Technical Data
We may collect or receive limited technical information such as device type, app
version, browser type, crash logs, or diagnostic information if analytics,
performance, or error-reporting tools are enabled. This helps improve reliability and
product quality.
5. Sharing of Information
We may share limited information with trusted third-party providers only when needed
to operate amoor, such as OpenAI for AI processing, payment providers, analytics or
diagnostics tools, and standard platform services provided by Apple.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or to
prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats.
6. Data Retention
Because amoor does not rely on its own backend to store user projects, much of your
content remains on your device unless you actively share it or send it for AI
generation. Third-party services involved in processing, including OpenAI, may retain
limited data according to their own policies, legal obligations, and technical
requirements.
7. Your Choices
You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal
information, subject to applicable law and operational requirements. You may also stop
using the service at any time.
In the app, amoor requests your permission before sending your room photo and related
design inputs to OpenAI for AI generation.
8. Children’s Privacy
amoor is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal
information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal
information, please contact us so we can review and remove it if appropriate.
9. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect
information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and
we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the
effective date above and post the updated version on this page.
